AWCO successfully replaced two 6″ heating and hot water lines leading to a cooling unit located in a building’s basement. First we removed the existing lines buried in existing trenches, then reinstalled and welded new piping. Link seals were installed where the pipe passed through the foundation walls to ensure secured completion.

All of the pipes and fittings were insulated underground in the steam trenches. AWCO worked closely with an electrical contractor to replace 450′ of electrical conduit, install new lights, and new junction boxes. All of which were completed within the steam trench.
